Luhansk region governor Serhii Haidai stated on social media that Russian troops have occupied about 79% of the region territory.
He added that the situation in the region is very difficult with constant Russian shelling, which hits civilian infrastructure and has led to dozens of civilian casualties.
He also reported the growing activity of Russian propaganda in the region, including broadcast of Russian TV channels.
Ukrainian authorities continue their efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population.
