A 96-year-old former Nazi prisoner killed by Russian missile in Kharkiv

 

Russian rocket strike killed in Kharkiv Boris Romanchenko, a former prisoner of Nazi death camp Buchenwald.

Boris Romanchenko had survived in the concentration camp during World War II, but was killed by Russian invaders when the missile hit the residential block he lived in.

Boris Romanchenko was an active member of the international Buchenwald committee and promoted the values of freedom and tolerance.
