Here is Bukvy quick breakdown of the updates:

  • a negative PCR test done 72 hours prior to entering Ukraine;
  • proof of medical insurance covering all expenses related to COVID-19 treatment while on the territory of Ukraine (medical insurance has to be valid for the stay period in the coutry).

Both requirements now do not apply to foreigners permanently residing in Ukraine, diplomats accredited to Ukraine, refugees, plane/ship/train crews, lorry and passenger bus drivers, and NATO personnel training Ukrainian military.

The updated regulations also make children under age 12 exempt from testing.

Self-quarantine requirement upon entry remains in place for all the groups except children under age 12, plane/ship/train crews, bus and lorry drivers, stem cells carrier personnel, and people with a negative PCR test done 72 hours prior to entering Ukraine.
