Ukraine’s capital and 11 regions record no vaccination on May 9, Health Ministry report

Ukraine’s Health Ministry officials report a drop in vaccination rates that sees only 1004 new vaccinations in 13 regions of Ukraine.

According to the official report, 1004 Ukrainians got their first Covid shot on Monday. The vaccination campaign recorded no vaccination in Vinnytsya, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsiy, Chernihiv, and Cherkasy regions.

The vaccination count of May 9 logged 3839 shots fewer that on the day before with shots administered by 15 mobile teams and at 25 vaccination points. The biggest number of   Covid shots was given in Lviv region (470).

The Health ministry officials informed that as of May 9 the total number of vaccination delivered stands at 864,089 with 446 Ukrainians being fully vaccinated.
