The count of ‘Ze violations’ goes on.

President Zelensky took part in a meeting of the Boryspil City Council, during which he violated the norms of the law ‘On local self-government in Ukraine.

Article 140 of the Constitution of Ukraine establishes that local self-government is the right of a territorial community to independently resolve issues of local significance within the framework of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.

Thus, local self-government is separated from the system of public authorities and is not subordinated to them in its activities, except as provided by law.

The act can be taken as interference in local governance, to which the president has no authority, and violation of Articles 19, 106, 140 of the Constitution.
