Zelensky violated the law of Ukraine ‘On the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting’ and Article 19 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

According to Article 4 of the law ‘On the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting’, the powers of a member of the National Council shall begin on the day of appointment and last for five years.

Article 19 of the Constitution of Ukraine stipulates that public authorities are obliged to act only on the basis, within the powers and in the manner prescribed by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine. In view of the above, the repeal by Zelensky of presidential decrees, which have an individual, non-normative character, is a violation of Articles 19 of the Constitution of Ukraine.
